After many years of designing both residential and commercial spaces,

I decided to transition into home styling and staging exclusively. My favorite part of the design process was always the final moments when the construction and installations were complete and the time came to style the space. This involved the layout of rugs and furniture, hanging the art, and the careful arrangement of decor accessories. To me this is the “sweet spot” and is the focus of Idea House Interiors.

When people ask what is the difference between interior styling and interior design I compare it to getting a makeover by an esthetician rather than having plastic surgery. It’s quicker, painless, and much more affordable!
